Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using PilotDocs ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

Use License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, PilotDocs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes. Under this license, you may not:

• Modify, copy, or create derivative works of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software used in the Service
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service

User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party and to notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PilotDocs to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
• Infringe upon or violate the intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit any malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Engage in unauthorized access, monitoring, or data scraping
• Send spam, unsolicited communications, or phishing attempts
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person or entity
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Interfere with or circumvent security features of the Service

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PilotDocs and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to the content you upload to PilotDocs ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you.

Payment Terms

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your selected plan. You will be charged automatically at the start of each billing period. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. If we change the price of your subscription, we will provide you with at least 30 days' notice. Your continued use of the Service after the price change takes effect constitutes your agreement to pay the modified amount.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to the Service until the end of your paid period.

Free Trial

We offer a 14-day free trial for paid plans. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, you will be prompted to enter payment information to continue using the Service. If you do not provide payment information, your account will be downgraded to the free plan (if available) or suspended.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your account settings. Upon termination, we will delete your User Content within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. PilotDocs does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected. You use the Service at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall PilotDocs, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PilotDocs and its licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in San Francisco County, California.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
