PilotDocs was founded in 2023 by a team of developers who were tired of struggling with outdated, confusing API documentation. We had experienced firsthand the frustration of trying to integrate with APIs that had poor docs—incomplete examples, broken links, outdated information, and no way to test endpoints without leaving the documentation.
We knew there had to be a better way. So we set out to build the documentation platform we wished existed—one that was beautiful, interactive, easy to maintain, and built specifically for modern API development workflows.
